Refurbishment of 3rd floor apartment in a building originally designed by Paxton Locher in 1995. This interior project reorients the existing kitchen 90 degrees from the dark centre of the plan to along the wall, bringing this active space closer to the bright full width windows and views across Clerkenwell Green. Complementing the new luxury full height fitted kitchen with a bespoke cantilevered marble breakfast island unit.
Behind the metallic finished sliding door, a deep green wallpapered corridor links the kitchen / living area to the rest of the apartment. This passage terminated by a a tinted mirror reflecting back views from the large front windows.
The master bedroom features an open ensuite bathroom area with coloured resin finished walls and floor and freestanding solid surface bathtub. This bedroom and the walk in dressing room opposite are finished with bespoke joinery and wardrobe features.
Alongside revisions to the internal layout the refurbishment included renewing underfloor heating systems, lighting layouts and integrating audio / visual entertainment systems.
