The Klassnik Corporation were contacted by creative agency PD3 to consult in surveying a range of possible sites for their expanding office. Following the selection of Clifton street in Shoreditch we developed a number of layout options, illustrated through plan and section. More detailed visualisation and precedent studies were used to identify potential furniture and storage elements to accommodate the expanded team and how we would create spaces to enable thinking, discussion, designing, eating, presentation and display.
Working closely with fabricators E J Ryder, a system of plywood desks was developed alongside a bespoke Valchromat partition glazing system for meeting rooms. A playful terraced seating area was also constructed between the meeting areas for break out discussions.
Alongside office areas a new kitchen and cork board display wall was installed with additional feature elements and storage planned for a later phase of delivery.
