Hostel in Walsingham

Alongside
the choreography of a visitors internal journey through the hostel, the
external spaces and the position of building elements are oriented with
the intention of highlighting aspects of the landscape surrounding them. The predominantly flat southern facade contrasts with the irregular geometries above the northern courtyard. The physical connection between the rooftop bar and the Old Mill below, is undermined through the illumination of the bar area at night. |
